“Prayer Spaces In Schools enable children and young people to explore faith and spirituality from a broadly Christian perspective in a safe, creative and interactive way.”

Taken from the Prayer Spaces in Schools website.

Each Prayer Space in School is individually created to match the desires and needs of the school in question. A range of resources are used to allow the students to explore a variety of subject areas and pastoral aspects of school life.

Since the Schools & Youth Team delivered their first prayer space in March 2013, they have now seen 17,500 students visit prayer spaces in 15 different schools.

We have two dedicated Prayer Spaces workers who plan, deliver and develop this amazing work. Please email us to find out more about current prayer spaces.

We are also pleased to be working in partnership with both Brighton & Hove City Mission and Prayer Spaces in Schools nationally in delivering this initiative.
