Heart miss a beat when you pass
someone vulnerable on the street?

Do you find yourself wanting to do something to help rough sleepers?

We are currently recruiting a variety of different roles as listed below. Feel free to contact our Antifreeze Manager Anna Muten if you would like more information.

 

Current Vacancies:

 

Prayer Supporter –
Thursdays 12-12.30pm via online Zoom meeting.

 

BLAZE Evening outreach –
minimum 2hrs between 7-10pm Mondays and Thursdays. Starting points either from our Antifreeze Day Centre, 37 Portland Road, Hove, BN3 5DQ, or a location in central Brighton/Hove. You must be able to access transport to travel to relevant starting point by foot, bike, public transport or car.

 
 

Antifreeze Day Centre Assistant –
Minimum 2hrs per week / Monday-Friday / morning 10am-12pm or afternoon 1-3pm/2-4pm (depending on which day) based at our Antifreeze Day Centre, 37 Portland Road, Hove, BN3 5DQ

 

NEW ROLE ! BLAZE Street Outreach Bag Distribution –
Minimum 2hrs per week / Monday-Friday between 5.00-7.00pm. Starting at Antifreeze Day Centre, 37 Portland Road, Hove, BN3 5DQ and travelling to locations in Brighton and Hove in your own vehicle.

  1. Download the Volunteer Application Form via the link below or contact the Antifreeze Deputy Manager Anna Muten via anna.muten@offthefence.org.uk or by calling 01273 774140.

  2. Anna will then contact you and provide necessary application details.

  3. Once we have received your completed application, you will be invited to have an informal chat to better understand your suitability for the role you have applied for and to check any other queries or support needs you may have.

  4. Once references are completed, you will be invited for an initial trial shift and then be added to the relevant volunteer rota according to your availability.

  5. DBS checks will be processed accordingly.’
