Prayer Space Up and Running!

The first week of November saw our Schools and Youth team run their first in real life Prayer Space since before the pandemic!

It was a fantastic week for students and staff alike as they had classes from nursery all the way up to Year 6 (at St Nicholas and St Mary’s in Shoreham) visiting the space and enjoying trying out the seven activities on offer. Just like Jesus said “I am the light of the world” in one of the zones (pictured) students were encouraged to “be a light” and think about people around the world that they could pray for.

This activity involved having fun with torches and writing postcards to people in countries such as Iraq, China and Sudan. In three days the team (plus volunteers) saw over 400 people and the team are excited for their next Prayer Space – at King’s (secondary) School at the start of December.
